Design: Joel Dupras. Joel Dupras was born in Montreal, Quebec, in 1980. After completing his studies in graphic design, he joined Visu, a family business manufacturing high-end furniture. As head of research and development, he designs product lines for the bedroom and the dining room. Joël also acquires strong expertise in the design of storage modules for the home.
In 2008, he founded the company Joël Dupras, designer and collaborates with several companies such as Meubles Foliot and creates collections for the hotel sector. Joël also designs for Wetstyle and in 2009, won Interior Design magazine's “Best of Year” (BOYA) award for his M collection. Then, in 2011, he joined the Huppé team as a designer and artistic director. Since then, he has contributed to the growth of Huppé by creating several audio-video furniture and collections for the bedroom, the home office, and the dining room while exploring different wood species and new materials.
His creations are composed of simple forms, balanced proportions, and functionality. Its minimalist approach, which is not cold, offers visual and tactile pleasures. Joël is recognized for his talent and expertise in contemporary design.
