Crafted in wood, the collection explores materiality and craftsmanship.

BEAM’s refined design derives from the simple section of a structural beam. The collection draws inspiration from Foster + Partners’ architectural projects, particularly the Narbo Via Museum in Narbonne, which features long concrete beams supporting the roof, reinterpreting this architectural language at the scale of furniture.

BEAM includes freestanding shelving units, as well as ceiling- and wall-fixed systems, alongside sideboards and cabinets. The open shelving, available in different heights, creates a rhythm through a series of metal uprights. The adaptable system is offered in multiple level configurations, and individual units can be combined horizontally to form larger-scale compositions.

Why We Love It

Designed by Foster + Partners Industrial Design for Punt, new for 2026

Material: Wood construction in supermatt oak, ebony-stained oak, high gloss or textured lacquer

2 official configurations (BEA040, BEA050)

Finishes: Supermatt Oak, Ebony Stained Oak, High Gloss Lacquer, Textured Lacquer

Made to order in Spain by Punt

Highlights:

Designer: Foster + Partners Industrial Design

Collection: Beam (Punt, 2026)

Materials: Wood construction in supermatt oak, ebony-stained oak, high gloss or textured lacquer

Finish: Supermatt Oak, Ebony Stained Oak, High Gloss Lacquer, Textured Lacquer

Dimensions:

40 cm Deep (BEA040): 78.7" W × 15.7" D × 24.8" H (200 × 40 × 63 cm)

50 cm Deep (BEA050): 78.7" W × 19.7" D × 24.8" H (200 × 50 × 63 cm)

Ordering Notes

Optional tray BEC040 (factory order): $495 / $520 ebony-stained oak.

Product Details

Brand: Punt

Designer: Foster + Partners Industrial Design

Model: BEA040, BEA050

Type: Sideboards

Materials: Wood construction in supermatt oak, ebony-stained oak, high gloss or textured lacquer

Lead time: Special order, 14–16 weeks from order confirmation (transit and delivery included)

Swatches:

Request Punt Swatches

Want to see a finish or fabric in person before you order?
