Instead of hands and numerals, a QLOCKTWO lights up the words: “it is half past seven.” Handcrafted by Biegert & Funk in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany.

A clock that speaks instead of ticks.
QLOCKTWO began with what its makers call “a simple and ingenious idea: a time display that shows the time as it is spoken.” The artists Marco Biegert and Andreas Funk finished the first QLOCKTWO in 2009, and every piece is still made by hand in Schwäbisch Gmünd, in southern Germany.
The EARTH word clocks show the 24 hours of a day in a matrix of letters, in the languages of our world. Choose a tabletop accent or an architectural wall piece, a brushed-steel front or a Creator’s Edition in stone, rust or gold leaf, and the front cover can be changed later.

QLOCKTWO MOON
Not the hour, but the moon.
MOON isn’t a word clock. It “presents the passage of time of a lunar cycle in 28 recurring intervals,” so the moon on its face slowly waxes and wanes. QLOCKTWO calls it “a declaration of love to the moon,” handcrafted to customer specifications.

Is the EARTH 45 the same as the QLOCKTWO Classic?
Yes. QLOCKTWO now names its word clocks by size in the EARTH line; EARTH 45 is the Classic, EARTH 90 the Large and EARTH 13.5 the Touch.
Where are QLOCKTWO clocks made?
By hand in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany, since 2009.
Can I change the front or the language later?
EARTH front covers are exchangeable, so you can change the surface or language later. A language change needs a compatible front and the matching clock setting. Ask us to confirm compatibility for your model.
What’s the difference between EARTH and MOON?
EARTH is the word clock. MOON shows the course of a lunar cycle in 28 recurring intervals, so it works more as sculptural wall art than an everyday clock.
