The Mission Footstool by Barlow Tyrie is an outdoor ottoman from the Mission collection. The Mission style of furniture comprises simple panels of vertical lines with flat areas to emphasise the grain of the wood. This footstool includes the vertical lines and a square profile but does not look heavy. Teamed with thick cushions for a luxurious look and comfort.
Mission is a fine example of the Arts & Crafts style from the late nineteenth century. The armchair is beautifully proportioned and extremely comfortable with a backrest that is adjustable to three positions.
