Dining-convertible You and Me, always-play Stationary, or space-saving Folding — plus foosball, Diagonal pool, Track shuffleboard and accessories. Made in Spain. At Modern Studio.

The short answer

Choose You and Me if you want one table for dining and ping pong — Indoor wood, Outdoor Standard/Medium, or Monochrome for a single color story. Choose Stationary if the table should always be ready to play outdoors. Choose Folding if you need a full-size outdoor game that puts the patio back when you’re done.

Number one · The difference

You and Me vs Stationary vs Folding: what’s the difference?

RS Barcelona builds ping pong as furniture, not gym equipment. Three outdoor/indoor paths cover most homes.

You and Me

Designed by Antoni Pallejà Office. A dining-height table with a removable net — meals by day, matches by evening. Indoor oak/walnut, outdoor Standard and Medium, and Monochrome for a continuous color story.

Stationary & Folding

Stationary is a fixed outdoor play table — always set. Folding is full-size play that collapses when you want the terrace clear. Neither is a dining convertible.

Choose You and Me if…

  • You want one piece for dinner and ping pong.

Number two · Planning

Room planning and clearance tips.

These are planning rules of thumb — not RS Barcelona engineering specs. We’ll sanity-check your room on a call or in the Laguna Beach showroom.

Game Plan for Notes
Ping pong ~6 ft clear behind each end; comfortable side aisles You and Me also needs dining-chair clearance when the net is off
Foosball Rod-side player space on both long sides RS Max needs room for eight; measure before you fall for the silhouette
Pool (Diagonal) ~5 ft cue clearance around the table Dining tops change the use — plan both modes
Shuffleboard (Track) Length first (9 or 12 ft) plus walk-around Think hallway-to-room flow before finish color

Number three · Care

Care, outdoor use and lead times.

Indoor

  • Dust and wipe with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Use coasters and pads on wood You and Me tops.
  • Keep cue racks and covers in the same finish family as the table.

Outdoor / covered outdoor

  • Powder-coated and outdoor-rated pieces prefer covered outdoor living.
  • Rinse salt and pollen; avoid abrasive pads.
  • Use fitted covers when the table sits unused.

Most RS Barcelona pieces are made to order in Spain. Some ping pong and accessory SKUs are QuickShip-eligible. Confirm current lead time before you lock a date — we won’t promise a week we can’t keep.

Questions

Frequently asked

Is You and Me really a dining table?

Yes. Remove the net and you have a dining-height surface. That’s the point of the design — one footprint for meals and matches. Stationary and Folding are play-first; they don’t convert the same way.

Monochrome vs wood Indoor — which looks more like furniture?

Both do. Wood Indoor (oak or walnut) reads as a contemporary dining table. Monochrome is a single color sweep — strong in modern rooms where you want the table to match a paint or metal story.

Can outdoor tables live fully uncovered?

We describe outdoor RS Barcelona pieces as covered-outdoor friendly: powder coat and outdoor tops handle weather better than indoor wood, but a cover and some shelter still help longevity. Ask us about your exposure (sun, salt, wind).

Do you stock these in the Laguna Beach showroom?

Floor samples change. Visit or message us and we’ll say what’s on the floor now, what we can pull from the warehouse story, and what to order from Spain.

What about foosball, pool and shuffleboard?

Same design house. RS2/RS3/RS Max for foosball, Diagonal for pool (with dining tops and cue racks), Track for shuffleboard. Start with the ping pong compare above if play + dining share a room; add a second game when the room plan allows.
