Behind the name

The story

Huppé’s roots reach back to Québec in 1967. Its furniture brings together North American design and European influences, with a contemporary language that feels at home in both residential and commercial spaces.

A new chapter began in 2010, when Jean-François Nolin acquired the company and worked with designer Joël Dupras to develop its modern identity. The ambition was to offer Canadian-made furniture with the design presence often associated with European makers.

What sets it apart

Craft and materials

Huppé describes its approach as designed and made in Canada, combining skilled handwork with a range of customization choices. Wood, upholstery, and finish combinations vary by collection; compare the actual options on each product rather than assuming every finish is available across the line.

The Modern Studio point of view

Why we carry it

Huppé is a useful starting point for a coordinated modern room: a bed and storage that share a design language, or living-room pieces that balance clean lines with material warmth. Our team can help compare proportions, finish samples, and the pieces that work together.
