Behind the name

The story

Artists Marco Biegert and Andreas Funk developed QLOCKTWO around a different way of experiencing time. Rather than relying on a conventional dial, its word clocks illuminate language within a carefully arranged letter grid.

Made in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany, the collection brings together design, technology, and handwork. The result sits between a functional clock and an art object, giving a wall or tabletop a quiet point of interest.
