Impatia Tariff & Delivery Policy
Applies to all Impatia game tables and accessories sold by Modern Studio. Last updated October 9, 2026.
Impatia pieces are handmade to order in Italy and shipped to the United States for each order. This page explains how import tariffs and delivery work, so there are no surprises. 1. Tariff terms
Before adding an Impatia product to your cart, please acknowledge the tariff terms shown on the product page. That acknowledgement covers the following:
- Tariffs are not included. Impatia prices on our site are Impatia's U.S. list prices (MSRP). They do not include U.S. import tariffs, duties, customs fees or related surcharges.
- Billed at our actual cost, with no markup. If any tariff, duty or surcharge applies when your order is imported, we bill you our actual cost on a separate invoice before your order ships. We will share the figure from the manufacturer or customs broker with you.
- The rate is set at the time of import. The amount is determined by U.S. Customs and Border Protection when the goods enter the U.S. It depends on the product's classification, its country of origin, its materials (for example, steel or aluminum content), and the rules in effect on that date. It may differ from any estimate given earlier.
- Reductions and refunds are passed on. If a tariff you paid is later reduced, removed or refunded to us, we will pass that amount back to you once we receive it.
- Your product price is locked once your order is confirmed. Only the tariff amount (if any) and any changes you request are billed separately.
2. Order-specific import estimate
Import charges are assessed for your specific product and shipment. We use the manufacturer or customs broker's written estimate for your order rather than a fixed percentage for every Impatia piece. An estimate for one table or delivery address is not a guaranteed rate for another order.
Before shipment, we will share the applicable import charge and confirm what is included in the delivery quote. If duties are already included in a confirmed quote, they will not be charged again as a separate import fee. Please contact us with your product configuration, ZIP code and delivery requirements for an order-specific estimate.
3. Delivery program
Every priced Impatia product page asks you to choose a delivery option. The rate is added to your order. Our standard complimentary-freight offer does not apply to Impatia products.

Standard Freight (curbside)
- Your crate is delivered by freight carrier to the curb or the building entrance on the ground floor. It is not brought inside or unpacked.
- You are responsible for moving the crate, uncrating, assembly and removing packaging. Billiard tables need professional leveling and assembly. For billiard tables, we strongly recommend White Glove.
White Glove
- Delivery inside your home to the room of your choice.
- Uncrating, assembly and installation by Impatia's local installation partner, including leveling for billiard tables.
- Removal of the crate, packaging and debris.
Lead times
- Production: about 6–8 weeks for foosball tables and about 8–12 weeks for most other tables. Billiard tables typically take 10–12 weeks. The lead time is confirmed when your order is placed.
- Transit: usually about 1–2 weeks after production for air freight, longer for ocean freight. Installation is scheduled after the goods arrive.
- Italian factories close for most of August, and the year-end holidays can slow production and customs.
Not included / may be quoted separately
- Stairs beyond one flight, hoisting or crane service, long carries, restricted-access or remote locations, or a building certificate of insurance.
- Storage if your site is not ready, removal of existing furniture, and delivery outside the contiguous United States.
We will tell you before your order ships if any of these apply to your location.
At delivery
- Inspect the crate before signing and note any visible damage on the delivery receipt. Then contact us right away at modern@modernfurnishings.com or 949.376.0103, with photos.
