    Modern curio and display cabinets

A modern curio cabinet shows off glassware, ceramics and collections behind glass while keeping them dust-free. This collection includes 22 display cabinets: 18 Italian-made curio cabinets by ALF Group, in one- and two-door designs that coordinate with their dining collections, plus Modus’s Arden, Grace and Ravelle and Whiteline’s Los Angeles Vitrine. Prices run from about $1,180 to $3,650.

Related: dining tables, ALF Group, storage and media cabinets.

What is the difference between a curio cabinet and a china cabinet?

A curio or display cabinet is usually glass on several sides, built to show items from every angle. A china cabinet often pairs glass upper doors with closed lower storage. Check each product’s photos and dimensions to see how much of the cabinet is glass and how much is closed storage.

    Do these cabinets have lighting?

Some do. Grace, Amy and the Los Angeles Vitrine list LED lighting. Check each product page for what is included.

How do I choose the right size?

Measure the wall width and ceiling height, and allow room for doors to swing open. Tall, narrow cabinets suit dining rooms and hallways; wider two-door designs anchor a living or dining room wall. If you are matching a dining set, look for the same ALF collection name.
